Machine paper pieced, long arm quilted. In the last stages of piecing this quilt I decided to change out some of the “boring” fabrics to make it a little more colorful. Exquisitely quilted by Debbie Bookman.

Hand & machine pieced. Hand quilted, I love antique quilts and also basket quilts. So I said “yes” to this project presented to me by a friend. Some of the baskets had to be re-pieced so that they would all be the same size. The fabrics are circa 1930’s and 1940’s.

Machine piecing I used a mix of textiles: wool, cotton, silk, decorator fabrics and upholstery. The mix of fabric made for more difficulty in the stitching – – challenging, but fun!

Machine pieced, machine quilted. This quilt was created from a stack of five-inch square shot cotton fabrics! So fun to slice them in half and arrange into the squares! Design Source – Original pattern.

Machine pieced and machine quilted by self. I made the blocks for this quilt at IQI’s March workshop. It was fun to create and piece. It is a great ‘lap’ warmer for watching TV on cold winter nights.

Machine pieced, machine quilted. The fabrics were purchased at Rosemont a few years ago. After savoring them for a while I decided on this block. Curvy log cabin is fun to piece, especially with the CLC ruler. Design Source –

Paper piecing, etc. There are twelve packets of directions to complete for this quilt. It took about nine months to finish! And I learned some new techniques. Sue Garmin

Machine pieced and appliqued, machine quilted by Sue DiVarco. I have always loved blue and white and when I first saw the pattern I knew I had to make it. The applique was difficult but I knew the result would be so worth it.
