This is my first red, white and blue quilt in over 35 years of quilting. I really liked the strong graphic in Lisa Bongan’s “American Outlander” pattern. Custom long-arm machine quilting by Sue DiVarco. (Machine pieced, machine quilted.)

Embroidery, sashiko, boro, yo-yos. I purchased this coat with the intent to embellish it, but didn’t really get the motivation until Lisa Binkley’s “Beyond Boro” NSNG class in November 2022. Embellishments are original designs. The coat was made by Susan Eastman.
