I made this silk chuppah (Jewish wedding canopy) for my daughter Hannah’s wedding last May. The design incorporates pieces of both my wedding dress and Hannah’s (she didn’t want a train). (Machine pieced and stitched. Silk, including wedding dress remnants.)

Machine pieced and quilted; reverse machine applique. I love Anna Maria Horner’s Folk Flower pattern, and this is my second quilt using it. The reverse machine applique technique works really well here and is a good skill to have in general.
