Stack-N-Whack Sampler

Anita Ruesch

Machine pieced. Machine quilted by Debbie Bookman. The kaleidoscope design is created by using the Stack-N-Whack method. Rather than finding and cutting each piece individually, you layer and cut a number of large, identically printed rectangles to make a stack.

Cosmic Stars

Machine pieced. Custom machine quilted by Donna Derstadt. This was a class I took at Quilters Heaven using Bali Pop fabrics which are precut strips in assorted colors.

Full Moon

Anita Ruesch

Paper pieced, machine quilted. I purchased this pattern from Deb Karasik, during a paper piecing class she taught at IQI. Her paper piecing method makes it easy to put this piece together and get perfect points. Machine quilted by Quilter’s Heaven’s Maureen O’Connor.

Dale’s Sudoku Quilt

Anita Ruesch

Machine pieced, long arm quilted. Part of my retired father-in-law’s daily routine is working on crossword and Sudoku puzzles. When I came across this pattern, I had to make this for him. This is an actual puzzle, which he will have to solve. Overall and numbers are machine quilted by Quilter’s Heaven’s Maureen O’Connor.
