Needle felted dyed sheep’s wool. I paint with fiber. Colored sheep’s wool is the paint on my palette. A sheet of felted wool is the canvas. And the needle is my paint brush. Embroidery, sashiko, boro, yo-yos. I purchased this coat with the intent to embellish it, but didn’t really get the motivation until Lisa Binkley’s “Beyond Boro” NSNG class in November 2022. Embellishments are original designs. The coat was made by Susan Eastman.
