Moonlight in the Forest

Painted tree, needlefelted leaves, free motion quilted background. Looking up through the painted tree canopy, faint moonlight shimmers on the needlefelted leaves & filters down to be viewed by the people on earth below.

Fuse hand dyed fabric, embellished with beads and hand embroidery. I have always loved pomegranates. Symbolic in many cultures, they are also now said to have health benefits. My mouth waters at the sight of this one!
