Hand pieced and hand quilted. I was experimenting with what can be done with two different sized triangles. I loved the cherry fabric and this is what was “born”.

Hand pieced and hand quilted using three different kinds of thread. This piece is entirely hand sewn. I used three different colors of thread to highlight the quilting and the dimensional look of the quilt.
Natural Impressions – Blowin’ in the WindValerie Rodelli
This fabric was painted & sunprinted with natural plants. Free motion threadwork was then done on top only. Finally it was free-motion quilted. After centerpiece was painted and stitched, the borders were designed & thread painted. The “natural” theme was carried out with the free-motion quilting.

Wet felted with various wool fibers, with some inclusions. First the fibers were felted around dowel rods. These were mounted on base and illuminated from the base.
