Chenille is used for leaf; freezer paper techniques used for leaves; butterfly is dimensional; covered cotton represents climbing vines; hand appliqué, dimensional flowers; machine quilting. 50 different fabrics were used to make one leaf. Beading represents “dew” early morning. Pipe cleaners for antennas.

Machine quilted, hand beaded, yoyos used for spots on fish, fly used from friend’s tackle box. Fish buttons found at Hancock’s Fabric Store. Main trout assembled on “Solvy” – quilted & then dissolved to lay on background. Fabric was cut to toothpick size then laid on background covered with tulle & machine quilted.
