Waterlilies at the CBG

Cotton and silk fabric mosaic on fusible adhesive, machine embroidered. This was inspired by my favorite waterlilies at the Chicago Botanic Gardens. I love their fluidity and delicate nature. This technique is like assembling a puzzle – of textures and colors.
