Hand appliquéd, machine quilted cottons & silks embellished with fabric beads & waxed linen. The top left corner depicts raw materials given by the Creator to the Earth. They became the leaves on the trees. In the cycle of life, these fall to the ground to decompose and enrich the soil. The noshi (lower left) and ribbons denote the gift or prosperity.
