Made with vintage, hand dyed & commercial cottons & silks. Fused, painted, machine and hand embellished. This quilt was begun in an NSNG workshop in 2012, that was called ‘Favorite Places’ and was led by Valerie Goodwin. It depicts my family’s summer home of long ago, on the Tippecanoe River in Winamac, IN. I’m honored to have this piece included in Valerie’s new book: “Art Quilt Maps” published in Aug 2013 by C&T Publishing.
