Machine pieced, machine quilted silk and cotton fabrics. Quilted with silk and polyester thread. Part of a challenge called “Into the Center”. My father has been the center of my life values and I sought to represent this in my quilt, I remember the silver gray hair & blue eyes. He was a quiet seeker of knowledge, hard-working, analytical, loving & supportive.
