Painted paper collage. This piece was made in am Elizabeth St. Hillaire workshop. Using Golden liquid acrylic paints the apple, background and foreground were painted onto a 12″x12″ pre-sized canvas board. Next, papers were painted the multi-colors of the board using many techniques, including a Gelli-Plate. Papers were then painstakingly applied to painted apple using gel gloss medium. Design Source –
