Lamp shade is wet felted with silk, flax and wool nubs embedded in fiber. This lamp was made during a workshop at NSNG. The cutaway at the bottom was made by placing wool nubs under silk chiffon, a resist ober that then covered in wool. The piece was wet felted, the frame is embedded in the wool.
