/ WGNS Hand woven. My hand woven fiber and iron wall sculpture, Sailing Lake Michigan, reveals my personal expressionism style derived from nature and expressed in form, color and tactile fiber materials.

/ WGNS Hand woven. My fiber art for the wall, “Kimono hanging”, reveals my personal expressionism style derived from the Asian culture. The Kimino Wall hanging is handwoven with wool and a silk tablecloth from China.

/ WGNS Hand woven, felted. Each panel represents the essences of a tree in the cold elements of winter…naked and alone. Trees in the winter are without growth and display an expanded rich, dark bark. The winter wind marks the trees with snow allowing the viewer to see the simple rhythms and sturdiness of winter.

/ WGNS Hand woven, crochet, basketry. Each “spear” fiber form is my personal expression derived from the Native American culture. The spears are hand woven in colors found in nature e.g. straw for the prairies.

/ WGNS Hand woven, basketry. Through a program I started (creating revenue through the arts) I teach Mayan women how to design, sew and market clothing with their handwoven jospe fabric. My five “Mayan women” sculptures represent my effort to blend cultures through the arts.
