Heat-bonded appliqué, cotton shirts, found objects, tulle overlays, machine stitched. This piece is comprised of work shirts, pockets, cuffs, collars and buttons; commemorating a year of my husband’s unemployment.

Hand-dyed and commercial fabric, improvisational composition, machine stitched. Working in a fairly improvisational manner, I cut or tear fabric, stitch and celebrate the energy of color and texture.
