Machine pieced & longarm quilted. I made this quilt for my cousin, Vera Ann, who was named after her dear great grandmother. It is based on the “Oops a Daisy” pattern with original appliqué design. I always add a bit of black to my baby quilts for sophistication.

Machine pieced; machine quilted. All quilters have in their fabric stash prints they love but are difficult to incorporate into a piece. I was inspired by a pattern by Heather Mulder Peterson and finally able to use some of this crazy floral print.

Machine pieced; machine quilted. This is the inspiration for the Illinois Quilters’ Guild 2015/2016 Challenge. It was fun to cut and sew and I can’t wait to make more!
StormKatie Ordover
Machine pieced; machine quilted. I love the blue and gray fabrics in this piece. It reminds me of Lake Michigan during a storm.
