Hand painted, machine appliqué, machine quilted. This piece is result of a workshop on painting and inking on fabric. The woods remind me of a birch grove in early morning.

Hand beaded & embellished. Purse began in a guild workshop. Great project to learn beading and embellishment.

Machine quilted. My first work using this technique. Invokes childhood memories of grandparent’s cottage.

Machine pieced & quilted, beaded, commercial and hand-dyed cottons, silk, mulberry paper Designed as part of a challenge to create a piece 18″ x 24″ with a piece of aqua fabric 8″ up on each side.

Hand beaded and stitched, machine quilted. Natural Glitz is the result of a workshop with Lisa Binkley. We each selected a print to work on and then designed the embellishments in collaboration with Lisa.
