Teatime with Ewe was created using resists. Notice the spiral openings with wool nepps inside, like a shepherds pathway. A gorgeous long lock on the removeable stopper. (Felted with resists to create open fins. Removeable felted stopper. Added lock of sheep at top.)

Travelling around Lake Michigan, I came to Lake Superior. A very different great lake, wild and stormy. My felted interpretation. (Felted merino and silk fiber, machine stitched. Hand embroidered, fossil inlay.)

This felted and stitched winter scene highlights the evening sky. Snow merges right into the gray, slightly pink late afternoon sky. Peace. (Felted merino wool and silk, machine stitched, embroidered. Stone inlay.)
