| My sister loves hearts. I love my sister, so I made her a heart quilt to celebrate her 70th birthday. It is 70 hearts in 70 fabrics. The red center heart is soft flannel fabric that feels different from the rest of the hearts and red is her favorite color. I saw lots of different heart patterns on-line and in magazines that I thought were interesting. I came up with a layout and altered sizes and placement to make it work for 70 hearts. The back is a big 70 in hearts so she can’t lie about her age! Happy 70! Love and blessings. (Machine pieced and quilted by me.) |
