Machine pieced and quilted. Quilted by Sally Evanshank at Windy City Quilting. My sister Damaris loves to eat pineapples, so what better block pattern than the pineapple block. I thought this would be a fun and quick pattern but it was much more involved but glad I had that pineapple square up ruler to make it a little easier. I made ‘Damaris Loves Pineapples’ for her birthday so that she would always have pineapples. Also, since it is in the show she won’t have to wait a year or more for me to finish her quilt. She loves batik fabrics and I let her pick out the border fabric which is reminiscent of pineapple colors. Happy birthday, sis, I love you. Design Source – Designed by me.
