Hand-dyed fabric, machine stitching, raw edge applique. I am trying to create more abstract work which is more diffcult for me than representational. On this piece I mostly worked with color as my guide and used organza for layering and texture.

Fused & raw-edge appliqué, machine-stitched. Hand-dyed fabric. My Venetian Reflections series was inspired by the beautiful reflections in the water in Venice. This piece is from memories of brightly-colored buildings in Burano.

Stiffened fabric, surface design, paper collage, beading. My goddess series is about strong women. Some of these goddesses are from mythology and some are imagined by me. Corallina protects our reefs which are being bleached and are dying as a result of warming seas. Fabric and paper sculpture.
