Machine pieced, hand quilted. This was made for a friend of mine who chose the colors and pattern.

Machine pieced, hand quilted. I use scraps and left-overs to make pot holders. But sometimes they just collect into a quilt.

I made this pattern because I knew it would be difficult but I figured I was up to the challenge. Two sisters helped with color and pattern placement.

I started another quilt but it just didn’t work out so I used some of the pieces I has cut, and it morphed into this one. I found it impossible (for me) to machine quilt it enough so I tied it also.

Influenced by layout of Seminole quilts Except for some horizontal lines, the pieces are all the same size and shape I’ve used this shape many times before but this layout is different and it amused me from when I started the piecing. Tucking, machine piecing, fusing, machine & hand embroidery, machine & hand quilting, dyeing, colored pencils, embellishments. I love trees and landscapes. My 7 year old granddaughter loves to draw. I took some of her drawings & copied them out to use.
