Pomegranate #1Sylvia Dresser
Fuse hand dyed fabric, embellished with beads and hand embroidery. I have always loved pomegranates. Symbolic in many cultures, they are also now said to have health benefits. My mouth waters at the sight of this one!
I’m Learning to like OrangeSylvia Dresser
Embellished with beads and embroidery, hand quilted. This piece is from an NSNG workshop. The middle piece of fabric is pre-printed. The embellishments are my own designs.
Autumn Lies Upon the LandSylvia Dresser
Basketry fiber wrapped with wool yarn, embellished with beads. I love the colors of autumn. When I saw this handspun yarn in a store on Washington Island, I immediately knew I wanted to make a basket with it.
