Fabric piecing, thread lacing, machine & hand embroidery, embellished with crystals. This was done as part of a workshop, learning various techniques. We were asked to provide our own fabric and my “stash” lends itself to a more whimsical style.

Cotton and silk fabric mosaic on fusible adhesive, machine embroidered. This was inspired by my favorite waterlilies at the Chicago Botanic Gardens. I love their fluidity and delicate nature. This technique is like assembling a puzzle – of textures and colors.
