Bead embroidery, fused and hand embroidery. Class project inspired me to do more hand embroidery and beading.

Paper pieced and machine quilted. This is one of many “Fairy Quilt Godmothers” available. Paper piecing allows for very small bits of fabric.

Strip pieced & sewn to muslin form by machine. Purse was made from fabric leftovers. Fabric color selection was the key to this jacket.

Fused fabric woven & fused to background. Inset piece was a class sample added to the larger background.

Machine appliqué & thread painting. Scroll design is accented using striped fabrics.

Fabric confetti layed down as background covered with tulle then over-stitched. Flowers added with more over-stitching. The confetti pieces are loose behind the tulle.
