Machine quilted, appliquéd, photo transfer & fabric painted Collage, landscape, abstract and traditional styles all converge in this Challenge Quilt made for a women’s retreat. I draw inspiration from nature, art, history and travel, even the view out my kitchen window!

Machine quilted & pieced using batiks, hand dyed fabric & other contemporary prints This is a variation of the traditional log cabin quilt using Courthouse Steps and two types of parallel-log construction which creates secondary stars and a curved effect by changing the background color.
