Machine pieced, hand appliqué, hand quilted (by me) This quilt “evolved” from the purchase of sale fabric (birds). I especially like the color palette.
Machine pieced. Machine quilted by Sue DiVarco. Focus fabric came from a well-known Paducah shop. The rest came from my stash (yay!)
Hand and machine pieced. Longarm quilted by Maureen O’Connor at Quilter’s Heaven (Northbrook). Many leftover Asian fabrics from a previous FAOF raffle quilt were used for the “fans”. But the border fabric was my inspiration.
Reverse appliqued circles (hand), machine pieced, longarm quilting by Maureen O’Conner. Reverse applique was a fun way to pair up fabrics from my stash. The longarm quilting echoed the circular motif. Design Source – Original.
Hand appliqued Butterflies, hand embroidered antennae, fused bodies, machine pieced blocks. My husband liked this quilt so much, I made him one in king size with 56 butterflies. Now I’m totally done with butterflies. Longarm quilted done by Maureen O’Conner at Quilter’s Heaven. Design Source – From and Edyta Sitar pattern (Laundry Basket Quilts).
Hand and machine pieced, hand quilted. Most of the fabrics and pattern came from a quilt shop in Oonalaska, Wisconsin. Design Source – Simple Circles pattern by Love Quilt Patterns.
