Hand needle felted, hand quilted, wet felted. The felted center piece (the backing was wet felted and then the detail added with needle felting) was completed in a Dimensional Felting class taught by Lela Luetgar at the Midwest Fiber & the Internet. I hand quilted the border to enhance the felting and make it pop.

Finished July 8, 2006, in Wilmette, Illinois. This is an adaptation of my original design I made as a stained glass window in the 1980s.
