Hand stitch except for borders & binding. Hand quilted by the Amish women. Working with the 1930 reproduction fabric and hand stitching each piece was a work of love and patience.

Hawaiian Flowers

Machine quilted; hand sashiko appliquéd, machine pieced. The beauty of the flowers against the dark blue fabric & enhanced by the sashiko drew me to make this involved quilt.

Machine pieced. Love learning to make the bias tape and appliquéing it to the fabric. Each quilt I choose is always a source of challenge and it expands my quilting technique.
