Wool applique – hand stitch by Carole Naughton. Machine quilted by Pat Barry. Working with wool applique was a wonderful experience. It was challenging but so rewarding when I finished each piece of the quilt.
Hand stitch except for borders & binding. Hand quilted by the Amish women. Working with the 1930 reproduction fabric and hand stitching each piece was a work of love and patience.

Machine quilted; hand sashiko appliquéd, machine pieced. The beauty of the flowers against the dark blue fabric & enhanced by the sashiko drew me to make this involved quilt.
Machine pieced. Love learning to make the bias tape and appliquéing it to the fabric. Each quilt I choose is always a source of challenge and it expands my quilting technique.
Machine appliqué, and embellished by hand. Sharon Ritzler and Carole Naughton are grandmas together and we decided to make this quilt for our children and grandchildren for Christmas.
