Sparkling SnowflakeAlice Jenks
Using a pattern I folded on an iridescent organza fused to interfacing, I added bugle beads, seed beads and one Swarovski crystal to each side. It will hang in my west window to add sparkle to my condo. (Folded paper pattern cut from iridescent organza, embellished with iridescent beads.)

Beading, This is my interpretation of a classic beading stitch, Right Angle Weave. The center embellishment is what makes it original and special.
A Japanese InspirationAlice Jenks
Polymer clay tube created with Mokume Gane technique. Kumihimo (Japanese braiding with a special device) strand was woven with a variegated thread in clear glass beads.
